Pay & Benefits of the Electrical Instructor:
• $65,000 to $85,000 per year salary

Responsibilities:
• The Apprentice Instructor will be responsible for the instruction, development, mentoring, training/preparation for apprentice.
• Assist with Apprentice onboarding and progress reviews
• This position will also be responsible for delivering occupational skills training, as well as develop curriculum and lead instruction for construction industry courses, such as NCCER and OSHA-10
• Delivers class instruction to a variety of individuals with substantially different educational, life experiences and barriers, through the development of instructional plans to meet course competencies, the development of activities which support lesson objectives, and delivers the instruction as approved
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides apprentice with opportunities to observe, questions, investigate and complete hands-on projects
• Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines
• Enables the achievement of pre-described exit competencies for student achievement and evaluation of learning by providing instruction which fosters competencies and establish apprentice performance criteria and evaluation
• Track and document student mastery of competencies
Qualifications:
• Education: HS Diploma/GED required
• Related Experience: A minimum of 4 years of verified electrical experience.
• 3 years’ experience working on job sites in construction
• Solar experienced preferred
• Licensed Electrician preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Able to travel to various job sites in assigned area
• Licenses & Certifications: NCCER Instructor Certification, ICTP Certified or and willingness needed to get within 30 days of employment
